Hall Fire

Priory Road, Bodmin at 11/12/2009 23:30


Two crews and a water carrier from Bodmin along with one appliance from Wadebridge are in attendance at a hall on fire on Priory Road. Upon the initial call taken at 22:02 the single storey 15 m x 10 m hall was well alight. Crews are using two jets on the fire being supplied by light portable pumps from Priory pond. Crews are also using two breathing apparatus and a hydrant. One water carrier is ferrying water from Bodmin fire station to the incident ground. Western Power engineers have been requested to attend the incident to disconnect the electricity supply to the building.
Crews at present are actively fighting the fire.

Incident update at 0227hrs, one appliance from Bodmn is remaining on scene at this time, dampiing down hotspots, using one hosereel.
