Firefighters from Liskeard and Lostwithial attended a house fire this evening.
On arrival the first appliance on scene confirmed the fire and requested a further appliance as smoke was also issuing from the neighbouring semi detached building.
Firefighters used six breathing apparatus and two hose reels to investigate the homes and extinguished a fire on the first floor landing of one.
One male was treated by the Ambulance for smoke inhalation.
