Two appliances from Padstow, two appliances from St Columb and one appliance from Newquay attended a reported fire in a house at Treburrick. On arrival the crews found a fire in a first floor bedroom, which was well alight. The property is a semi detached cottage approximately five metres by four metres and consisting of two floors. Crews wearing four breathing apparatus and using two hose reels and two jets extinguished the fire, which is believed to have started accidentally.

All crews had returned to their home stations by 1255hrs. There are no further details available regarding this incident.
