On receipt of this call, both appliances from St. Austell were mobilised, on arrival there was found to be a fire in the kitchen of a single storey 8 by 15 metre property, four Cornwall Fire & Rescue personnel wearing breathing apparatus entered the property and used a hosereel to extinguish the fire, they also rescued two dogs from the premises unharmed. No further details are available regarding this incident.
