Cornwall FRS were called to a road traffic collision on the A30 involving a heavy goods vehicle and three cars. Two appliances and the rescue tender from Bodmin attended this incident. In one vehicle there was one casualty severely trapped and firefighters released this person using crash rescue equipment. There are no further details available regarding this incident, although the A30 eastbound will remain closed for some time. Any further information may be obtained from Devon and Cornwall Police.
