Campervan Fire
Upton Towans, between Hayle and Gwithian at 28/02/2010 02:07
One fire appliance from Camborne attended reports of a vehicle on fire. The crew found a campervan well alight and one hosereel, one jet and one monitor were used to extinguish the fire. The crew were detained for some time damping down two gas cylinders that were involved. The road was also closed for a time, to protect the public.
Arson is suspected and the police are now dealing.
