Gorse Fires
Bodmin Area and St Neot Area at 09/03/2010 17:00
The Fire Service has been dealing with several gorse fires within the areas of Bodmin and St Neot.
A crew from Bodmin dealt with approx 1 acre of high gorse near Temple Fishery this afternoon, the crews stood by while the fire burnt to a natural break.
A crew from Liskeard at present is dealing with a small gorse fire of 20m by 30m near the village of St Neot. The crews are using beaters to extinguish the fire and have determined it to be arson. The police have been notified.
