Chimney Fire

Two appliances from Saltash attended a reported chimney fire which the occupier feared had spread to the roof space. Fortunately, when the crews arrived the fire had been contained within the chimney. Firefighters used chimney rods to extinguish the fire and a thermal image camera to ensure that there were no hot spots or that the fire had spread.
