Appliances from Camborne and Redruth attended a report of a fire in the Old Brewery buildings. On arrival crews found a large amount of smoke, but on further investigation found a quantity of rubbish alight inside one of the derelict buildings. However, the building was not involved. Firefighters wearing two breathing apparatus and using one hose reel extinguished the fire. The cause is believed to be arson and details have been passed to the Police, who also attended the incident.
