Lintel Beam Fire

The Fire & Rescue Service were called to a beam above a fire place on fire in a property at Poughill just outside of Bude. Two appliances from Bude attended with a Wholetime Officer.
On arrival they found one oak beam well alight and used a hose reel, small gear and a Thermal Imaging Camera to deal with the incident. The crews were delayed for some time whilst they cut away and monitored the situation.
