Person Rescued From Smoke Filled Property

Two crews from St Austell attended a property where there were alarms sounding and a smell of smoke was coming from open windows. On the crews arrival they lead one casualty from the building to safety. The casualty was rescued from a smoke filled bungalow measuring 5 x 7 meters and upon further investigation crews found a un attended pan on the cooker. Crews used two breathing apparatus, the fire was out on the crews arrival. Crews used a positive pressure ventilation fan to clear the smoke from the property. The casualty was taken to hospital by Ambulance.
