One crew from Penzance and a team from Cornwall Search and Rescue attended a call to a dog which had fallen into a dry mine shaft of unknown depth. Crews used a safety at height and confined spaces pack to rescue the long haired male terrier from a ledge which luckily the dog had fallen onto. The terrier was reunited with its happy owner with only a few minor injuries.
