One crew from Liskeard attended a call to a chimney fire. Upon the crews arrival the properties ground floor was smoke logged. Crews used two breathing apparatus and one thermal imageing camera to locate the fire. Crews then used a positive pressure ventilation fan to clear smoke from the property and used a stirrup pump and chimney rods to clear the fire from the chimney. Crews checked the chimney flue for hotspots and fitted two smoke alarms to the property.
