At 0949 this morning CFRS were called to rescue a Lamb from a well. 1 Appliance from Launceston was mobilised to the scene along with a whole time officer. Due to the partial colapse of the well crews had to dig a hole down outside of the well to gain access to rescue the lamb. Assistance was also given by Devon & Cornwall Police dog handler in loaning equipment to hold the animal during the rescue attempt.
Fire Rescue Crews worked hard for nearly 2 hours digging in difficult circumstances before they were able to release the lamb uninjured
