Appliances from Padstow and Wadebridge attended a report of smoke issueing from an integral domestic garage. Firefighters wearing four breathing apparatus, one hose reel and a fogfighter to extinguish the fire, involving a washing machine. The garage was located in the basement of the property and the building measured approximately ten metres by ten metres. One gentleman was treated by ambulance personnel for smoke inhalation.
