Farm Buildings Fire

This is an update to an incident that occurred at 10:26 when Cornwall Fire Service received information that a farm building was alight. Two appliances from Liskeard and one appliance from Callington were mobilised.
On arrival crews found a single storey farm building measuring 10m x 5m with a fire in the roof area, being contained by persons already on scene. Firefighters wearing Breathing Apparatus and using High Pressure Hosereels quickly extinguished the fire.
The fire was accidental and confined to the original building. One person was treated for mild smoke inhalation and taken to hospital via land ambulance for further assessment.
