Two crews from Looe, and two from Liskeard and Lostwithiel attended a kitchen fire this evening. Crews attended a fire in a single storey rear kitchen, attached to a two storey property measuring 8 m by 12 m. The property involved was one in a terrace of four properties. Crews used two breathing apparatus, two hosereels and a covering jet when first entering the property. Breathing apparatus increased to six in use with two hydrants supplying fire appliances. Crews used a covering jet and a thermal imaging camera to check the fire hadnt spread to adjacent propertied. Crews damped the scene down the scene down using two hosereels.
