At 1024 this morning CFRS received a call to a young bullock that had fallen into a mine shaft. A Rescue Tender from Camborne & a pumping appliance from Truro attended the incident along with an officer. The animal was rescued from 10 ft down in the mine shaft using rescue lines and Hydraulic lifting equipment fixed to the rear of the Rescue Tender. The animal was left in the care of the owner.
