On receipt of this call, both appliances from Newquay were mobilised on arrival the water carrier from Newquay was also requested, the fire involved a derelict building measuring 20 by 5 metres, firefighters wearing breathing apparatus used high pressure hosereels and a main jet to extinguish the fire. Arson was suspected. Devon & Cornwall Police have been informed.
