Two fire appliances from Launceston attended an area of garden about 10 metres by 4 metres, which included a shed, that was well alight. A gas cylinder was removed and cooled.
The firefighters used a ground monitor and two hosereels to bring the fire under control by 2310hrs. They remained on scene for a further 40 minutes, damping down.
