One fire appliance from Delabole attended a fire involving the trailer of an articulated lorry carrying milk. The driver was able to disconnect and move the tractor unit away from danger.

Firefighters wearing breathing apparatus used two hosereels to extinguish the fire. The crew remained on scene for some time damping down.

The police attended to assist with traffic management and Highways requested to deal with the damaged road surface.
