Both appliances from St. Austell and a land rover from Fowey attended this incident, the crews dealt with an area of 500 metres of high gorse using beaters. The crews were on scene for a considerable time, with the last appliance returning to station at approximately midnight. Arson was suspected. Devon & Cornwall Police have been informed.
