Crews from Torpoint and Saltash were mobilised to this incident, on arrival it was found that a settee had been caught alight and spread to a nearby garage, firefighters wearing breathing apparatus used a hosereel jet to extinguish the fire. Arson was suspected. Devon & Cornwall Police attended and will be making further enquiries.
