At 1826 hours two fire appliances from Callington and one fire appliance from Saltash responded to a reported house fire at PorthMellon Gardens, Callington.
A small fire involving unattended food on a cooker was extinguished using one hose reel and two breathing apparatus sets. Smoke in the premises was cleared using a positive pressure ventilation fan.
