On receipt of several calls for this incident, one appliance from Newquay was mobilised, on arrival the crew found an area measuring 20 metres square alight on the cliff face, Fire & Rescue personnel used a high pressure hosereel to extinguish the fire. Arson was suspected. Devon & Cornwall Police have been informed.
