Cornwall Fire and Rescue Service have been in attendance of a workshop fire since 16:24 yesterday afternoon. Four pumping appliances from St Austell, Lostwithiel and Bodmin initially attended. Specialist appliances were also brought in. These included the Water Carrier from Bodmin, the High Volume Pump from Newquay, the Environment Support Vehicle from Bodmin and the Command Support Vehicle from Truro. Over forty fire fighters and four officers attended the incident.

The operation has been scaled down, however, there is still a cordon of 160 meters around the incident. Cylinders are still being cooled and steady progress is being made.
