Fire In Engine Room of Ferry
St Mary's Harbour, Isles of Scilly at 14/07/2010 17:15
Two appliances from St Marys attended a small ferry which reported a fire in her engine room. Details were passed to the FRS by the Coastguard asking us to meet with the vessel as it docked at St Marys Harbour. Firefighters wearing breathing apparatus found a small fire in the engine room which they extinguished using one hose reel. The fire is believed to have started accidentally and there are no further details available regarding this incident.
