Cat Rescued

Ruddlemoor, St Austell at 14/07/2010 20:43

One crew and a flexi duty officer from St Austell attended a call to a cat which had gotten stuck in a soil drain pipe connected to a down pipe and was in danger of drowning. Before the crews arrival the cats owner had diverted draining water away from the soil pipe and removed a grill from the pipework. The soil pipe was under decking and crews used small tools to access the drain pipe. Progress was slow, crews lifted the decking and broke the soil pipe to release the cat from s right hand bend uninjured.
The cat was left in the care of its owners.
There is no more details available on this incident.
