Two crews from Newquay attended a call to a cooker on fire at Penmerin Court. Upon the crews arrival they found there had been a small fire in a cooker, the fire was extinguished on their arrival. Two casualties were given oxygen on scene by Ambulance crews for smoke inhalation. Crews used a thermal imageing camera to ensure the fire was completely extinguished. After this incident, Crews fitted smoke detectors in the property involved.
