Two crews from Newquay attended a call to a fire involving a pan in a building measuring 50 x 40 meters with three floors. On the initial calls a caller stated that the fire had been extinguished using a carbon dioxide fire extinguisher. Crews were mobilised to the incident to ensure that the fire was completely out. Upon their arrival Fire crews confirmed the fire was out but that the building was heavily smoke logged. There was so much smoke that crews entered the building wearing two breathing apparatus. Crews used a positive pressure ventilation fan to extract the smoke from the premise.
