The Fire & Rescue Service was called to a microwave on fire in a utility room of a detached 3 floor dwelling.
Two appliances from Truro with 10 firefighters and a Wholetime Officer are in attendance.
The crews extinguished the fire using two breathing apparatus and one hosereel.
The crews are at present using a positive pressure ventilation fan to remove the smoke from the property. All persons were accounted for at this incident.
Ambulance and Police are also on scene.
