Two Road Traffic Collisions

Between 0030 & 0100 hrs Cornwall Fire & Rescue Service (CFRS) were called to two road traffic collisions where casualties were believed to be trapped. The first one at 0032 hrs was at Treburley where one vehicle collided with two stationary vehicles. Four casualties were dealt with by West Country Ambulance crews. Two appliances from Launceston & the rescue tender from Bodmin were sent to the incident. The rescue tender was then diverted at 0049 when CFRS received a further call to a road traffic collision between St Minver & Polzeath with persons believed trapped. Two appliances, one from Wadebridge and one from Delabole also attended. On arrival there were no persons trapped. One casualty was taken to hospital by West Country Ambulance crew. The vehicle was made safe using small tools by Firefighters at the scene.
