Two crews from Delabole, one from Bodmin and a specialised line rescue tender from Bodmin attended a call to a 12 month old calf, which had fallen into a hole in a field. Upon crews arrival, they found a male calf wedged on its back in a hole measuring 50cm x 100cm and two meters deep. Only the calfs head was visable to the crews. A mini digger attended the incident and a vet also attended. Crews and the mini digger made steady progress and at 21:00hrs, finally released the calf.
