The Fire & Rescue Service received a call to a property in Portscatho, which had a Rayburn on fire.
Two appliances from St Mawes attended the incident. The crews used two breathing apparatus and a dry powder extinguisher to deal with the fire. They also isolated the oil tanks that fed the stove. The crews were detained while they made up and ensured that the Rayburn had cooled sufficiently to be left in the hands of the occupier.
