At 1333 this afternoon CFRS were called to a reported kitchen fire. Two appliances from Helston attended the incident. Two firefighters wearing breathing apparatus and using a hose reel extinguished the fire. 1 casualty was treated on scene by West Country Ambulance for smoke inhalation.

If you do have a fire in the kitchen, don't take any risks - get everyone out of your home and call 999.
