At 22:29 hours the FRS were called to an incident in Lanivet. Appliances from Bodmin and Lostwithiel attended a report of a fire in a property in Truro Road. On arrival the crews found the premises, which is a detached two storey house approximately five metres by ten metres, to be well alight. Crews wearing four breathing apparatus and using one main jet and one hose reel extinguished the fire. A thermal image camera was also used to investigate the area. Western Power were requested to disconnect power lines to the house. One person was treated by paramedics on scene, and the fire service have no further details concerning this casualty.
