On receipt of this call appliances from St. Just and Penzance were mobilised. On arrival it was found that there had been a fire in a two storey building, which was fortunately out on arrival. Firefighters wearing breathing apparatus entered the premises with a high pressure hosereel as a precaution, and proceeded to ventilate the premise. Three casualties were treated at the scene for smoke inhalation by Cornwall Fire & Rescue personnel until the arrival of West Country Ambulance personnel.
