On receipt of this call, appliances from Newquay and Truro were mobilised, on arrival at the premises, the crews found smoke issuing from a bungalow, firefighters wearing breathing apparatus entered the building with a high pressure hosereel and extinguished the fire believed to have involved a boiler. Fire & Rescue Personnel treated a casualty for the effects of smoke inhilation with oxygen until the arrival of West Country Ambulance crew.
