Two appliances from Saltash were mobilised on receipt of this call. On arrival the appliances found approximately 100 bales of hay and a large quantity of railway sleepers well alight. Brigade personnel are still on scene at the moment and are using 4 jets and 2 hosereels to extinguish the blaze. Crews were detained for a considerable time, returning to station at approximately 1600 hours.
