Person thrown from car found

Two crews from Redruth and Falmouth, along with a Rescue Tender from Camborne attended a call to a two vehicle road traffic collision. On the crews arrival it was confirmed that no persons were trapped in the vehicles, but one back seat passenger from one vehicle had been thrown from the vehicle and was missing. Crews used thermal imaging cameras and lighting to search the undergrowth from both Comford and Lanner directions inwards to locate the casualty. One casualty was located, injured and remote from the road by fire crews using the thermal imaging cameras. Fire crews assisted Paramedics and Police in recovering the casualty using lighting and a triple extension ladder. Crews made both vehicles involved in the collision safe.
