One fire appliance from St Dennis, one fire appliance and the rescue tender from Bodmin and one fire appliance from St Columb attended a road traffic collision with persons trapped.

The incident involved vehicles on both the westbound and eastbound carriageways and firefighters used crash rescue equipment to free two trapped casualties by 0345hrs.

This is a serious incident and the A30 will be closed for some considerable time.
