Numerous calls were received for this incident, one appliance from Falmouth attended, on arrival the car was found to be well alight, firefighters wearing breathing apparatus used two high pressure hosereels to extinguish the fire and also used crash rescue equipment to gain access to the engine compartment. The cause was believed accidental.
