Three appliances and a water carrier from Cornwall and one appliance from Devon attended this incident. The fire involved approximately 600 tyres and 60 large bales. Personnel used a foam jet, jet, 2 hosereels and breathing apparatus at the scene. Foam was spread over the tyres to suppress the fire. The incident was finally completed at approximately 0700 hours.
