On receipt of this call, appliances from Redruth were mobilised, on arrival there was found to a fire involvoving a cooker. The fire was extinguished by firefighters wearing breathing apparatus using a high pressure hose reel and CO2 extinguisher. The positive pressure fan was also used to ventilate the premises. The cause was confirmed as accidental.
