Two crews from Camborne were mobilised to a call to a flat full of smoke in Trevithick court. Upon the crews arrival the occupant was out of the flat. Crews entered the property using one hosereel and two breathing apparatus. The elderly occupant of the flat was suffering from mild smoke inhalation. The casualty was treated on scene by Fire Crews with oxygen until Ambulance crews arrived.
After investigation it was established that the fire was believed to have started in an electrical wall heater. Heating engineers attended the scene.
