One appliance from Fowey and one from St. Austell were mobilised on receipt of this call. On arrival it was found that a fire in the ground floor kitchen had spread to the first floor, four firefighters wearing breathing apparatus used hosereels and a foam jet to extinguish the fire. The Thermal Imaging Camera was also used at the incident when crews checked the wall voids for any fire spread.
