Two fire appliances and a water carrier from Camborne were mobilised to a report of a barn on fire.

Firefighters wearing breathing apparatus are using three jets, a ground monitor and a fire hydrant to fight the blaze.

Update 1645hrs: One fire crew still remain in attendance using a ground monitor to damp down the fire.

Update 2130 hours: The fire has now been extinguished and the remaining crew on scene have returned to station.

Arson was suspected. Further details may be obtained from Devon & Cornwall Police.
