One appliance and the recue tender from Camborne were mobilised to this incident, on arrival there was found to be a van which had collided with a lamp post, one person was confirmed trapped at the scene, crews proceeded to release the casualty using crash rescue equipment and assisted West Country Ambulance personnel. Devon & Cornwall Police were in attendance and proceeded to close the main A30 because of the dangerous position of the street light. Western Power were in attendance and would be making the area safe.
