There have been numerous emergency calls to the St. Austell, St. Blazey, Par and Lostwithiel areas.

At Portloe, there is approximately 2 feet of water in the main street. 5 people are trapped in the street and are being helped by the emergency services.

A car has been washed into the harbour due to the flooding.

There has been an inner and outer cordon set by service personnel. The hotel and neighbouring harbour properties have been evacuated.
