Rhind Street - Bodmin at 23/11/2010 03:05
The fire and rescue service received a call from a property in Rhind Street Bodmin, from a gentleman who had been woken by his smoke detectors and could smell smoke in his flat but believed it was coming from the property below or from an external source as he could see smoke in the courtyard at the back of his property.
Two appliances from Bodmin attended with a further appliance from Lostwithiel along with an Officer.
On arrival the crews discovered a small fire in a grill pan in a ground floor flat and removed the grill pan from the property to the outside thus making it safe. The crews then used a positive pressure ventilation fan to clear the smoke from the two properties.
Two male persons were treated by West Country Ambulance Service for smoke inhalation.
This is all the information we have on this incident.
